On the morning of December 2, the 3rd Wuhan Free Trade Zone Development Forum and the inaugural meeting of the East Lake High-tech Development Zone Import and Export Enterprise Service Alliance was held. The alliance is jointly established by enterprises engaged in import and export trade in Wuhan Free Trade Zone and various units that carry out related activities to help enterprises solve related problems encountered in import and export trade.

Zhao Feng, Deputy Mayor of Wuhan, Liu Jie, Director of the Administrative Committee of East Lake High-tech Development Zone, Director of the Administrative Committee of HubeiPilot Free Trade Zone Wuhan Area, Song Huiqin, Deputy Commissioner of the Office of the Special Commissioner of the Ministry of Commerce in Wuhan, and Chen Huarong, Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce of Hubei Province addressed the meeting and jointly unveiled the service alliance for import and export enterprises in East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Wuhan Free Trade Zone).

The theme of this forum is "Trade Facilitation under the Dual-Circular Pattern". The Chairman of the Legal Professional Committee, Deputy Director of the Wuhan Arbitration Commission, Deputy Director of the Arbitration Office, Li Denghua, as a guest. Director Li gave a presentation on the explorations made by the Wuhan Arbitration Commission on legal services in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Wuhan Free Trade Zone). The Wuhan Arbitration Commission established the Optics Valley Office and settled in the Wuhan Free Trade Zone, which is responsible for the resolution of disputes in the Free Trade Zone and provides higher-level and specialized legal services. The Wuhan Arbitration Commission also formulated the "Model Arbitration Rules for the China (Hubei) Pilot Free Trade Zone" after discussion. The "Model Rules" fully respect the autonomy of the parties and enrich the preservation measures and temporary measures. At the same time, the Wuhan Arbitration Commission carries out special publicity activities through visits and competitions to deepen the awareness of risk prevention as well as legal awareness among enterprises and parties in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone. The Wuhan Arbitration Commission's team of legal service professionals has high quality professionalism and ethical qualities, and the arbitration operates fairly and impartially, with significant results in resolving conflicts.
